The Jacksonville Country Day School Parents’ Association, through its Community Connections committee, partnered with Soldier’s Angels this year to support the Treats for Troops program, which brings comfort and resources to active-duty military members, veterans and their families. Following Halloween, JCDS students and families gathered to donate candy and treats for troops. Their generosity filled three large wagons with donations, symbolizing the school's gratitude for service members’ dedication and sacrifices.
Through these initiatives, Jacksonville Country Day School cultivates respect and appreciation for veterans and active-duty service members. From creative projects to community service, JCDS students are learning the importance of honoring and supporting those who serve and protect the nation.
