Monkee’s of Ponte Vedra is a women’s boutique that specializes in clothing, accessories, shoes and gifts. They celebrated their grand opening on Aug. 13 and have been thriving ever since.
“Our location has had steady sales and traffic despite our grand opening occurring in the off season,” said franchise owner Beth Holland. “The Sawgrass Village community has been so welcoming and supportive, and we are excited to see what the months ahead will bring.”
Monkee’s is headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and there are currently 11 Monkee’s locations in the state of Florida.
Monkee’s specializes in brand selection because they carry many different designers from the United States and around the world. Each Monkee’s location curates the lines to their personality and location.
“We are always looking for up-and-coming trends and designers to have in in store. Currently, our customers are loving House of MBR, which features custom artwork on each design, Anna Cate and Paige Denim,” said Holland.
As fall gets underway, Holland said there are a few trends that have already started to stand out.
“We are seeing lots of fringe this year. Fringe details on scarves, sweaters, dresses and skirts. Suede accents in handbags are shoes are always a staple and pops of Chartreuse have been big,” she said.
On Friday, Oct. 2, Monkee’s of Ponte Vedra will host an Autumn Sip and Shop from 1 to 6 p.m.
“We will be showcasing all of our new fall arrivals and having festive drinks and treats to enjoy while shopping,” said Holland.
Coming in the spring of 2027, Monkee’s of Ponte Vedra will be offering online shopping, but for now they can complete orders over the phone and ship merchandise to their customers. Customers can also follow Monkee’s on Instagram and Facebook to see new arrivals and watch for upcoming trunk shows.
