JaxFuse plans day of food, art, music

Posted

JaxFuse, Northeast Florida’s one-of-a-kind celebration of the creative economy, kicks off this Saturday with Fashion Day and concludes Oct. 18 with Film Day. Between the two is Food, Art and Music Day, arguably the most diverse of all three festival days.

On Oct. 17, local chefs, artists and musicians will gather at the link, 425 Town Plaza Ave. in the Nocatee Town Center, to offer guests a unique mix of experiences for the eyes, ears and palates.

At the center of the festivities will be the artists, exhibiting their works to inspire guests. Here will be an opportunity to speak with the creators and learn more about their processes, their preferred mediums, their subject matter and more.

On the stage, musicians will provide the soundtrack to the evening.

And surrounding the art gallery, local chefs and restaurants will delight visitors with a variety of tasty fare. There will Caribbean, Irish and other ethnic foods, selections from the American culinary scene including New England favorites, gourmet cuisine, coffee, pizza, desserts, beverages and lots more.
