Kevin Carrico, president of the Jacksonville City Council, and Daysi Jacobson, founder and CEO of Daysi Jacobson Accounting and Jacobson Wealth Builders, announced their marriage on Dec. 13, 2025. The couple were united in a small, private ceremony in Northeast Florida.
Their marriage marks a meaningful milestone for two leaders whose professional lives reflect a shared commitment to public service, professional excellence, and long-term community impact across Northeast Florida.
Kevin Carrico serves as president of the Jacksonville City Council, representing District 4, and was elected by his peers as the 57th council president. He is widely recognized for a collaborative, values-driven leadership style rooted in faith, integrity and a commitment to strengthening the community.
In addition to his role in public office, Carrico serves as vice president of strategic initiatives for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, where he proudly celebrates 10 years of service. In this role, he focuses on strategic growth, community partnerships and initiatives that expand access and opportunity for youth throughout the First Coast.
Daysi Jacobson is a Ponte Vedra Beach-based tax and accounting professional known for providing strategic financial guidance to individuals and businesses throughout the region. As founder and CEO of Daysi Jacobson Accounting and Jacobson Wealth Builders, she leads a firm recognized for excellence, trust and leadership in client service.
Her firm has earned multiple community recognitions, including Best of the Best and Best of the Beaches honors in Ponte Vedra Beach. She was also recently recognized by the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with the Woman in Business Award.
As newlyweds, Kevin and Daysi look forward to this next chapter together while continuing their respective professional and public service commitments and building their life in Northeast Florida.
