RISE at Nocatee, a luxury active living community for adults 55+, celebrated its second anniversary on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Residents, staff and community members gathered to celebrate the growth and being named Best of the Best Retirement Community in Ponte Vedra. They enjoyed a wonderful evening of cocktails, great food, music and lots of fun.
“I looked around that night and thought, this is what community is supposed to feel like,” said Gina Hansen, the new community manager at RISE at Nocatee.
Gina has been with RISE at Nocatee since 2024 and worked in Nocatee since 2021.
“I’ve built so many relationships over the years, so Nocatee really feels like home to me,” she said. “I’ve always been someone who jumps in and gets involved, so becoming community manager feels like a natural next step. I love RISE, I love our residents and I’m really excited to lead our team and see where we can take this community next.”
Gina defines community as a place where “people feel like they belong.” She said this means showing up for each other, laughing together and enjoying where you live.
Gina’s goals are to “keep growing, keep listening and keep making RISE better. I want our residents to feel heard and proud to call RISE home, and I want our team to feel just as proud to be a part of it.”
She wants RISE at Nocatee to grow without losing the personal feel that makes it stand out.
