The Moonlight Market, presented by Jenna Alexander Studio and Sunday Gathering Table, returns on Saturday, Nov. 8, for an evening of art, food and locally crafted wares.
From 5 to 9 p.m., guests can peruse and purchase unique artisan items, including handmade goods, art, ceramics and vintage finds. This free open-air market is held at 73 San Marco Ave. in Uptown St. Augustine, which is fast becoming an innovative hub for the arts and culture.
“We love making this annual event fresh by using a team of creatives to curate a unique group of vendors,” said Jenna Alexander of Jenna Alexander Studio. “This year, I’m pleased to present an all-new series of paintings featuring dunes and seascapes, inspired by our local Florida State Parks.”
The Moonlight Market features 33 vendors offering a diverse range of items, including art, jewelry, furniture, skincare and more.
Bear on Paper creates hand-painted original watercolors and small-batch prints, greeting cards and stickers. Dunes Apparel crafts custom women’s clothing with a focus on high-quality natural fibers, vintage linen and one-of-a-kind quilted jackets. Hilaman and Co. specializes in 20th-century design, featuring a selection of unique and rare books, modernist art, ceramics, mid-century furniture and vintage records.
DJ Zach Engh will provide mood music ideal for chatting and shopping. Guests are welcome to arrive hungry, as Sunday Gathering Table will provide a delicious supper, canned natural wine, assorted beer and non-alcoholic options.
“We’ll be offering a homemade spread at the market, including grass-fed American cheeseburgers with shredded lettuce, house pickles and fancy sauce, accompanied by potato salad, vegetable jardiniere and chips,” said Misty Lake, owner of Sunday Gathering Table. “Guests can also purchase loaves of our fresh, hand-shaped sourdough bread to take home.”
