First Coast Design Show celebrates Golden Jubilee

Posted

This December, one of Jacksonville’s most beloved annual traditions reaches a remarkable milestone. The First Coast Design Show, formerly the Art and Antiques Show, celebrates its 50th Anniversary, and the Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital has planned an especially memorable celebration.

This year’s Golden Jubilee features a richer program than ever before, with renowned speakers spanning interior design, gardening and fashion. Alongside lectures and panel discussions featuring Suzanne Kasler, Paloma Contreras, Fernando Wong and David Thomas, among many others, attendees will discover some of the country’s finest art and antiques dealers, immersive experiences and a carefully curated shopping floor offering something for every taste and budget.

New this year, Kipton Currier of East Coast Expositions joins longtime show manager Charles Hanlon in curating the exhibitor experience. Kipton brings Southern charm and an exceptional eye for the perfect mix of art, antiques, garden items, jewelry and handcrafted goods, a combination sure to delight both longtime attendees and first-time visitors alike.

But beyond the shopping and the speakers, this Golden Jubilee is a moment to celebrate something truly extraordinary. Over the past 50 years, the Women’s Board has raised more than $37.5 million for Wolfson Children’s Hospital. That remarkable achievement is a testament to the generosity, dedication and community spirit of everyone who has supported the show across five decades.

The show will be held Dec. 3-6. Details are available at https://www.firstcoastdesignshow.com.
