Corey Kimball Wiles, 56, Crescent Beach, Florida, passed away too soon, Sunday, March 29, 2026. Born in Gainesville, Florida to his father, Dr. David Kimball Wiles and mother, Dr. Marilyn McCall Wiles, later welcoming brother and lifelong best friend, Matthew Alexander Wiles and his family Jenny, Seth, Owen and Zane.
His life's loves were his children, Zachary David Wiles and Maya Rose Wiles. Extended family members include Aimee, Michael, Robin, Dale, Will, Bryan, Kay, Kimi, Jon, Wendy, Stan and Michele who frequently gathered at the Little White Beach House on the Sand Dune, Crescent Beach.
Corey grew up in Toronto, Canada; Blacksburg, Virginia; Oxford, Ohio; and Albany, New York, graduating from Bethlehem Highs School, SUNY State University of New York, Cortland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and graduate courses at University of North Florida.
Corey moved to an area he knew and loved near his family's Crescent Beach house in NE Florida. He married Jodi Becker and raised their family Zachary David and Maya Rose in Palm Valley with their beloved pets, Pumpkin and Milo. Corey LOVED being "The organizer" for friends: Hack-a-Jack golf; Air Out Flag Football-winning a division title, and men's softball. An avid fan of the Jaguars from its first day in Jacksonville, he watched every game! Golf, Braves baseball, Ponte Vedra schools' softball, basketball, baseball and Wiles Bocce were front and center in his "love of the game". He was the 2022 Wiles BOCCE Ball Champion!
Corey was a lifelong golfer and surfer who loved the beach. His life at his family beach house was ideal for his next stages of life. He lived life to the fullest watching sunrises and sunsets - always with a kind word to say and standing up for others.
Corey is terribly missed by family and many friends. We will love and miss him forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Corey later in June.
"Love You-Sweet dreams."
