Every year the PGA TOUR Fan Shop brings us surprises in golf-y things, from logo balls to logo clothing to logo stuff we never knew about in the first place, but now we want it. For instance, last year or the year before, I found some wine glasses with the Goldman PLAYERS logo on it that also had giant golf ball shaped dimples in gold covering the lower third of the glass. It’s fabulous. Who knew I needed that! But I’m glad I have it.
Some items are only available at the Fan Shop while others are available online at pgatourfanshop.com. I usually look for oversized T-shirts I can wear to the swimming pool. But, as my daughter would say, you do you. I’m running low on the ones that used to say Island Green in different ways with different graphics. I wish they would bring back the ones that had a graphic of the 17th hole and said “17 137 Island Time.”
If you happen to like a certain brand, you should get a ticket for the first day that they are available because this stuff sells out! Featured brands for 2026 include: 47 Brands, adidas Originals, Nike, Peter Millar, Johnnie-O, Bad Birdie, Barstool Golf, FootJoy, Greyson, Holderness & Bourne, Rhoback, Smith & Quinn, Swannies, Fore All and Ellsworth & Ivey. But wait, there’s more.
Some of them you’ll know right away, but some you might not. Fore All, for instance. That’s a women’s line with very cute tops and skirts, some in fab-looking green and white checks, like a small version of the Indianapolis 500 victory flag on in green instead of black and white. And there are socks to match! I mean you’ve got to have some fun with this stuff because it’s likely you’re going to hit a ball in a bunker or the water while playing golf, and fun apparel takes the edge off bad luck or a bad shot. At least I think so. There are even little tee holder loops on the skirts. Who wouldn’t want that? I would.
Swannies are a merchandise line of men’s clothing that not too long ago was in the new products section of the PGA Merchandise Show. Now they are all grown up and successful as a brand at the PLAYERS. Well, maybe not ALL grown up. One of the polo shirt designs is a hotdog wearing a flamingo innertube. Another is a hotdog in a bun leaning on its driver. $75 in sizes S to 3XL. They’ve now added women’s clothing, too.
Local/regional companies have a variety of golf wear and accessories in the Fan Shop. Flomotion, creator of the toothy designs, is back with more designs highlighting a dentist’s best friend: teeth. Shark’s teeth to be specific. And Gator teeth. It’s a chomping world out there. I want an adult version of the kids giant shark’s tooth with floral designs inside it, but I want the tooth on the front, not the back, so I can enjoy it while wearing.
New this year are Sun Day Red, Tiger Woods’ new line, featuring a custom hoodie; Del Campo socks, local favorite Sunrise Surf Shop and Lafavre. It’s likely you already know two of those, but here’s some info on the other two.
You will think this is crazy, but I love the socks. Or sox.
If you are a sock lover, Del Campo should be right up your ankle. They have little designs on the crew portions of the sock. Others have tasteful stripes. There are packages of socks in stripe, plain and you’ll never believe this: smiley face.
Then they go nuts, and I’m surprised it’s not with designs featuring acorns and pecans. You’ve got to see them to believe them.
Socks with lighting bolts (!) in black, blue and pink. Socks with palm trees. Socks with smiley faces in black, red, green, orange (it’s Florida!), smiley Santa hat and smiley dark mode, which is a black sock with a white smiley face. Hysterical. My fav for this year is the 1776 design with a flag on one side and a red and blue intertwined smiley face on the other. Perfect solution intertwining the colors!
Then there are the Blanks. Socks with nothing on them in white or night mode (black). And there are even Jack O’Lantern scary smileys in orange for Halloween and skull-and-crossbones socks for whoever you are trying to scare.
Zack Brust is the founder of the company. Before he did that, he was an engineer for Tesla and before that, he was a kicker for the Florida Gators. He can’t be all bad.
He explained that he wanted socks that were tall enough to keep out the sand when he’s extracting himself from a bunker. So, his designs tend to be what you’d call sort of tall and not-quite-as-tall. And dark mode is almost a dress sock if you keep the smiley face hidden.
Lafavre, started by sort of local designer Kasey Faver, is also new this year. It’s fun and fashionable, and they call it Southern Style. They do collaborations with artists and sports teams NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA Tour, NCAA, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, Orlando Magic, and Florida Gators. You can imagine how fast those sell out.
So get ready, get set, get shopping!
