Waves Aesthetics, voted best aesthetician in Ponte Vedra Beach for three years in a row, is entering a new chapter. Owner Lisa Petges will be retiring at the end of May. She shared her gratitude to the community for their years of support and has full confidence in the new leadership of Kristen Smith.
Smith started her career as a medical aesthetician in 2005 and became a certified medical electrologist and earned her tattooing license in permanent makeup. She has nearly two decades of experience in medical aesthetics as well. Smith is committed to excellence in the beauty and aesthetics industry. She will start her new role on May 30.
Petges said that Waves Aesthetics will remain under the same name. Their experienced team of licensed therapists will continue to offer personalized treatments to help relieve stress and support overall wellness in a calm and restorative environment. To celebrate the new era of Waves Aesthetics, the spa will hold a free “passing the torch” party on June 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
