“We’re the best in the city,” said owner Bryan Hamilton.
Triple B’s Bachi is Jacksonville’s premier hibachi food truck on wheels. Although based in the city, Hamilton said they service surrounding counties including Clay County. You can find him frequently parked and ready to serve in Middleburg, Green Cove Springs and Fleming Island.
Within the four walls of the food truck, you can almost always find Hamilton creating a flavorful taste that will never be forgotten. Selling chicken, steak and salmon hibachi, each hefty plate includes fried rice and seasoned vegetables.
Each meal is cooked to order and holds a spicy kick.
“We don’t serve traditional hibachi. Our hibachi is a little bit different. It’s more like a homecooked style hibachi. So, it’s very different, flavorful. To be honest with you, I think we have the best hibachi in the state of Florida,” Hamilton said.
Hamilton has always had a passion for cooking. Growing up with a large family, it was common practice to get together and laugh over a good meal.
“It’s just a tradition as a family to cook. So, I figured since we had such great food in our family, that we will bring it and share it with the community,” he said.
Later on in life, he decided he wanted to do something different than working a regular nine to five. He wanted to be an entrepreneur. He purchased the food truck and opened up in 2023. The Triple B is named for him and his two children.
Since opening, he said he’s traveled as far as Sarasota to share his fresh spin on a favorite dish.
“The best thing about running a food truck is actually being able to go out and meet new people in the community. And actually, get my brand out there.”
In 2024, he was also featured on an episode of “Carnival Eats.” The Food Network television show, according to its website, follows Noah Cappe as he “explores the best and weirdest food at fairs, festivals and carnivals across America.”
Hamilton said his food has been a hit with customers.
“We have a 99% success rate as far as people enjoying the food and coming back. We have a lot of repeat customers,” he said.
“If you’re in a subdivision or a business and want us to come out and serve lunch, dinner, any of the following, we’ll come out.”
With hopes of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant one day, Hamilton said he wants to begin with expanding to multiple food truck locations. That way, everyone can get a taste of what Triple B’s Bachi has to offer.
Hamilton said those looking to contact Triple B’s Bachi can visit his Facebook and Instagram pages at “TripleB’sBachi” or call 904-835-1088.
