Transatlantic Translations Group (TTG) is celebrating 25 years of partnership and helping people overcome language barriers. The company is an ISO-certified, HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2-attested, full-service language provider offering nine language solutions to businesses and organizations of all sizes.

Kerri Modla, vice president of enterprise at TTG, has been with the company for 20 years. During that time, she has enjoyed watching TTG grow organically while continuing to build lasting relationships with its customers.

The company has also embraced artificial intelligence as the technology has developed.

“A.I. has been an incredible asset to TTG,” Modla said, “but the company took its time before introducing the technology to customers.”

TTG beta-tested its A.I. interpretation solutions for several months to ensure they were dependable and easy to use. Today, A.I. interpretation is available in 26 languages.

Modla added, “At TTG, A.I. technology and human language professionals work together to make translation and interpretation faster, more efficient and more accurate. A.I. can translate content quickly, while professional linguists review and refine the translations to ensure accuracy, quality and cultural appropriateness.” A.I.-powered tools can also review work completed by human translators to help identify possible errors, inconsistencies or ambiguities.

Human translators remain an essential part of the process. They create specialized glossaries, manage industry-specific terminology and provide the personal judgment and cultural understanding that technology cannot replace. The A.I.-powered tools also learn from professionally reviewed translations, helping the technology continue to improve over time.

For the month of July, TTG offered customers and St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce members an opportunity to experience it’s A.I. interpretation service at no cost, and Modla has extended that offer through to the end of August. The service provides secure, instant access to interpretation by phone or mobile device in 26 languages. No app download or contract is required.

A.I. interpretation can be helpful for businesses of all sizes and across many industries. It can help health care providers communicate with patients, construction companies improve workplace safety, hotels and restaurants better serve international guests and employees, retailers confidently assist customers and legal professionals communicate more clearly with the people they serve.

TTG’s language services help businesses grow, strengthen relationships and better serve increasingly diverse communities. The company works with a wide range of customers and has language professionals located around the world. Modla said, “Over the years, TTG has had the privilege of supporting health care, legal and financial organizations, private businesses and government agencies.”

It does not matter how large or small the company may be, Modla said. “Every customer is a customer.”

Modla loves the diversity of TTG’s client base and the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people.

“We understand the importance of supporting the local community, and we want St. Johns County business owners to know that TTG can tailor our language processes to meet the individual needs of each organization,” she said.
