The St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections has officially published the polling place list for the 2026 election cycle. To accommodate growth in St. Johns County, the number of precincts has grown by two, for a total of 55 precincts. The number of polling places has decreased to 42, due to two precincts being co-located for this year’s elections.
During the 2025 non-election year, the Supervisor of Elections office reviewed each polling place and the number of registered voters it serves to ensure locations are not overwhelmed and voters are not inconvenienced. The review identified two areas of the county experiencing significant population growth, where existing election day polling places have limited capacity. To better serve voters in these areas, adjustments have been made to precinct boundaries and polling locations.
The 2026 St. Johns County polling place list is also available on the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections website at www.votesjc.gov, and the website has been updated to reflect the precinct and polling place changes.
Affected voters residing in the precincts whose election day polling places have been relocated have received updated voter information cards in the mail and should review their new cards carefully. Voters are encouraged to go to www.votesjc.gov or contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at 904-823-2238 for additional information regarding voting locations.
