Jacksonville Jaguars broadcaster Brian Sexton will receive the 2025 “Rock of the Community Award” at the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach’s annual Mineral City Celebration.

Sexton will be honored for his work in the community through his role with the Jaguars and as a community leader who has volunteered with numerous local charities.

“Each year, the Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary Club honors a deserving individual to thank them for their civic contributions and inspire others to embrace a spirit of service,” club President Beverly Flanagan said. “Since becoming the ‘Voice of the Jaguars’ more than 30 years ago, Brian Sexton has become an integral part of our First Coast Community. We are thrilled to honor him as the 2025 Rock of the Community.”

Over his more than three decades with the Jaguars, Sexton has become one of the most sought-after speakers and emcees in North Florida, lending his time and support to a variety of organizations and causes such as Emergency Assistance Ministry at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation, The Ronald McDonald House, The Women’s Help Center and various efforts within the Diocese of St. Augustine.

To be held April 5 at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport, the Mineral City Celebration is the signature annual fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach. Proceeds from the event have benefited dozens of local nonprofit organizations and charities, including the Beaches Dial-a-Ride program, Mission House, BEAM, HEAL, K9s for Warriors, United Way of St. Johns County, the Council on Aging and more.
