Since 2020, the Florida American Legion and its partners have hosted the Seven Bridges POW/MIA Remembrance Day Ride & Ceremony in Jacksonville. It’s a powerful tribute to the nation’s prisoners of war and those still missing in action.
This police-escorted ride brings together more than 250 motorcycles, all riding in unity to honor those who never came home. The journey spans seven bridges across Jacksonville, symbolizing a commitment to never forget the men and women who remain unaccounted for.
The ride concludes at the National POW/MIA Memorial & Museum at Cecil Field, where a solemn ceremony is held to honor the missing, followed by a community gathering with music, barbecue and military displays.
This year, the ride is Sept. 20 from Adamec HD Baymeadows to the National POW/MIA Memorial, 6112 POW-MIA Memorial Parkway, Jacksonville.
Register between 8 and 10 a.m. at Adamec Harley Davidson, 8909 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville. Cost is $20 per bike, $5 per passenger. For more information and another way to register, go to: http://qr.link/x4foCt.
