The St. Augustine Lions have announced that the 43rd St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival will return Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, on Francis Field. The field is located at 25 W. Castillo Drive in downtown St. Augustine.

The popular festival is the primary fundraising event for the St. Augustine Lions Foundation. Since the festival’s first occurrence in 1981, more than $2 million has been raised for charitable projects.

The St. Augustine Lions charitable projects include in-school vision screenings, with free doctor’s visits and eyeglasses to those in need; scholarships; supporting local programs like food banks, abuse shelters and senior centers; collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids; and helping individuals in need, focusing on youth, the deaf and the blind, disaster relief, veterans and more.

Every year, the St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival draws guests with its excellent food choices, live music and entertaining activities. Seafood is the main star, prepared in various ways, along with other cuisines such as barbecue, Asian, Greek, Cajun and carnival foods. Live music is an exciting part of the festival, and musical acts will be announced soon.

The Fun Zone offers entertainment and activities suitable for all ages. Attendees will enjoy the Arts & Crafts Village, Tiki Bar and Pirate Landing — featuring performers such as magicians, pirates and dancers.

Tickets are $10, with children 12 years of age and younger admitted free of charge, and are available for purchase at the gate.

“Every year we look for ways to make the festival better than the year before,” said Lion Dominic Mercurio, festival co-chairman. “And we get to raise money for some amazing local charities. We know that 2026 will be one of our best, and we hope to see everyone at the festival.”

Free parking and shuttle service will be available. Shuttles will pick up and drop off visitors on Saturday, March 21, only, at a shuttle location provided by the City of St. Augustine. More information on parking and shuttles will be posted on the websites lionsfestival.com and citystaug.com, as well as at Facebook.com/staugustinelionsfestival
