Samuel Gilbert Brown, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Sam was born on February 2, 1954, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida to the late Dr. Gilbert L. Brown and Patricia Ann Brown.
He graduated from Fletcher High School and excelled in basketball and tennis. Sam enjoyed surfing, riding his motorcycles, long walks on the beach and holidays with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rocke Brown, 64. His memory will forever be treasured by his 2 sisters Janette E. Baysore (Tim Baysore) and CynDee B. Fekula (Patrick Fekula).
He is survived by his nephew, Eric Brown (Lisa; daughter, Jessica); nephew, Keith Showalter (Elena Showalter, children: Phoebe, Willow and River); nephew, Benjamin Fekula (Phyllis Fekula, children: Lyliana, Loralinda, Eliott, Orin, Daniel and Laelia); niece, Genevieve Miranda (Vincent Miranda, child: Reid); nephew, Christopher Baysore (Beverly Baysore, children: Zachary and Evan); niece, Mindy Gibson (Casey Gibson, child: Christopher).
