River City Home Watch accredited for third year

Posted

River City Home Watch has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the National Home Watch Association for the third year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (nationalhomewatchassociation.org).

Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence. All principals of NHWA accredited member companies are background-checked, insured and bonded.

Founder Matt Lees is a Florida native and has lived in St. Johns County since 2017. River City Home Watch provides Home Watch services to families in St. Johns, Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.

Lees’ career spans more than two decades, starting in the late 1990s. He has extensive experience in commercial air conditioning, building engineering and property management. He has managed a diverse array of commercial properties, from new constructions to existing high-rises, corporate offices and strip malls.

Transitioning to the Home Watch industry was a natural step for Lees. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for quality inspections are now focused on residential properties, providing homeowners with peace of mind knowing their homes are well cared for.

River City Home Watch serves Northwest St. Johns, Mandarin, Fruit Cove, Switzerland, Orangedale, Nocatee, Palm Valley and San Marco, and the Shearwater, Rivertown, Beachwalk and TPC Sawgrass communities.
