Every year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awards market-leading builders and home raters who champion safer, healthier and more comfortable indoor environments through the Indoor AirPlus Program (IAP).

IAP encourages homebuilders to go further with construction practices and verification requirements to help minimize exposure to airborne pollutants and contaminants. Providence Homes has won an IAP Leader Award for the past three consecutive years, and for the first time, is a winner of the Indoor AirPlus Leader of the Year Award in the Builder Category.

Providence Homes was selected for its continued dedication to innovate and promote IAP with homeowner education videos, advertising across various media and outreach to the real estate community.

“EPA congratulates this year’s 12 Indoor AirPlus Leader Award winners and our newest builder and rater Leaders of the Year,” said David Rowson, director of EPA’s Indoor Environments Division. “Their commitment to healthier communities and indoor environments is a model of excellence in the high-performance home industry. The partnership between EPA and these Indoor AirPlus Leader Award winners is critical to our shared goal to protect public health and increase access to improved indoor air quality in American homes.”

For more than 30 years, Providence Homes has been recognized locally and nationally for its innovative designs, energy-efficiency and integrity.
