Get ready for an evening of laughter, heart and high-energy entertainment as Ponte Vedra High School presents its spring production of “Legally Blonde: The Musical.” The curtain will rise on this Broadway favorite, showcasing the talent and dedication of local students both on stage and behind the scenes.

Based on the 2001 film and the novel by Amanda Brown, “Legally Blonde” follows the journey of Elle Woods, a fashion-loving sorority queen who surprises everyone — including herself — by enrolling at Harvard Law School in pursuit of love, only to discover her own strength along the way. Filled with catchy musical numbers, sharp humor and inspiring messages about self-confidence and perseverance, “Legally Blonde” has become a modern classic for theater lovers of all ages.

Under the direction of Jason Nettle and Ponte Vedra High’s drama department, the production promises to deliver all the glitz and charm of Broadway, with an extra dose of community pride. The cast and crew have been hard at work to deliver performances, choreography, crafting sets and costumes — all to bring Elle’s world to life for local audiences.

This is more than just a school play; it’s a celebration of young artistry, teamwork and the power of believing in yourself. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the film or new to Elle’s story, this production will leave you smiling and tapping your feet.

Performances will be held Thursday through Sunday, April 24-27, in the Ponte Vedra High School Auditorium. For tickets, go to gofan.co/app/school/FL31834.
