Picking out your dream landscape design is exciting and perhaps a bit overwhelming at first. There are many factors to consider, like maintenance, irrigation and even what plants thrive in the Northeast Florida heat. However, getting started with landscape design can be as calming and simple as taking a walk-and-talk around your property.
Trudy Pilcher has a vast knowledge of plants and loves helping clients bring their dream landscape to life. Pilcher has a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture and was the first horticultural manager at The Plantation at Ponte Vedra for 10 years. She began her career by working in maintenance, which grew her love for design. She learned how a good design is complimentary to maintenance and she brings these skills with her to each consultation. She has lots of experience working with HOA boards and is well versed in what plants thrive in Northeast Florida.
Pilcher loves plants and adding pops of color to landscapes. She incorporates plants in various shades of green, unique shrubs and vibrant flowers. Some of her current favorite plants to work with include Platinum Beauty Lomandra, Carex Everillo, Chef’s Choice Rosemary and BIG Begonias. Visit her website for a page showing all her favorite plants.
Pilcher enjoys meeting with clients and really listening to their vision. She works with them to bring their vision to life, whether they want a more manicured or coastal look. Her consultations are relaxing and stress-free. She takes clients on a walk-and-talk around their property to brainstorm and educate. Then, clients can decide what steps they would like to take next. Pilcher has a lot of connections with gardeners, tree trimmers and other landscape services to help with next steps as well. She describes her business as an orchestra. She is like the conductor who helps bring all of the pieces of landscape design together.
For the month of June, Pilcher is offering her consultation services for half off. She will send clients an email about the details they discussed and suggest next steps. Pilcher Landscape Design offers an educational consultation for your landscape design needs.
