Ocean Palms recently recognized this year’s volunteer of the year, Sierra Boyce.
Boyce works tirelessly to shine a light on all of the happenings at Ocean Palms Elementary School. This is her fourth year overseeing the PTO Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as the website. With her posts, parents and staff hear about student and staff successes, community events, school events, important reminders and more.
This communication, complemented by her professional PTO newsletters and fliers, brings each and every member of the school community together.
And when it comes to Boyce’s contributions, this is just the beginning.
While she almost immediately stepped into this communications board position upon moving to Ponte Vedra and joining the Ocean Palms community, she also served as the PTO vice president for two years and took on the role as PTO president this school year, all while still maintaining her communications role. Additionally, she serves on the school’s SAC committee, has been a room parent for many years and more.
