New amenities are coming to Nocatee

Nocatee continues to add to its amenities, with several planned for 2021. Here’s a look.

West End Park

When it opens this spring, West End Park will have features to accommodate all families. It will have large, shaded playgrounds and an open-air pavilion. There will be both small and large dog park spaces.

Access to the park will be easy with plentiful sidewalks, EV parking and bike racks that are ideal for active families looking to walk, run, bike or play in the community park.

West End Park will be nestled between the West End at Town Center neighborhood and the new Baptist Health Place.

Settler's Pond

Settler's Pond is slated to open this summer. It will feature a recreational area anchored by a 14-acre pond that will be stocked for fishing.

Outdoor enthusiasts will be able to use non-motorized water vehicles, such as kayaks, paddleboards and canoes to reach the pond's best fishing spots.

There will be a large shaded playground and a lakefront pavilion with restrooms conveniently on site. Also featured are small and large dog park spaces. Settler's Pond will include a walking trail to the new Settler's Landing  neighborhood and a walking trail to the new K-8 school. EV parking and bike racks will also be available.

Settler's Pond is nestled between the Settler's Landing neighborhood and the new school, which is set to open this fall.

Splash and Spray Waterpark

Enhancements to the waterparks are also planned. A dueling head-first mat slide, a two-person tube slide, an adults-only serenity pool and a new family pool will all be included.
