Nease High School Band news

As we enter the final stretch of the 2025-26 school year, the band is actively preparing for the state MPA and their final concert of the year in May. Other activities include:

• April 14 – Spirit Night at South Kitchen in Nocatee, 5-8pm. Public is welcome, come out and support the Nease Band! All proceeds go to supporting the band!

• April 22 – Annual Band Banquet celebrating the band members and the accomplishments throughout the year.

• April 23 – State MPA at UNF

• May 5 – Spring concert at Nease High School. Open to the public.

• May 7, 12, 14 – Registration nights

Looking ahead to the 2026-27 school year, there are important dates for both new and returning band members. The band director, Mr. Gaona, will host three registration events for all new and returning band students (including new ninth graders) that have signed up for band for the 2026-27 school year at Nease High School. The registration events provide information on next year’s show music and what to expect in marching band. In addition, each student and parent will be set up to receive band communications.
