The Museum of Science & History (MOSH), in partnership with The Ritz Theatre and Museum, will present the second annual POWER event — a vibrant celebration of Black art, history and culture in Northeast Florida. The event will be held at the museum from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

POWER is part of MOSH’s Passport Series, an ongoing series of cultural programming which aims to connect communities and cultures and facilitate educational growth. MOSH invites visitors to listen, learn and enjoy the dynamic atmosphere.

Guests will enjoy a film screening of “The Banker,” art exhibitions highlighting local Black artists, local Black-owned businesses and cuisines, live art demonstrations, live entertainment by Str8up, a discussion panel focused on important cultural topics, and museum-wide access. Drinks will be available for purchase at MOSH’s bar.

This event is appropriate for all ages; alcohol will be available for purchase for guests 21 and older.

Ticket price levels include youth, student, Museum Member and general admission. Find full details and purchase tickets at themosh.org/event/power-a-celebration-of-black-art-history-culture.

The museum is located at 1025 Museum Circle, Jacksonville.
