General seating tickets are still available for the Friday, June 9, St. Johns County Republican Party fundraising dinner, though VIP tickets are sold out.

According to Republican Executive Committee Chair Blake Paterson, the dinner “will bring county Republicans together who share a passion for making our county, our state and our country safer, stronger and more conservative.”

Guests will arrive at 5 p.m. to enjoy dinner at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club. Paterson will make introductions, starting with U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL). Florida House Speaker Paul Renner (FL-19) will share highlights of the 2023 legislative session that just wrapped up. This is an opportunity to hear about the new Florida statutes and how they will impact St. Johns County and the state.

Quisha King, a parent advocate with Moms for America, is scheduled to speak on critical race theory among other issues of importance to families. St. Johns County Commissioner Krista Joseph (District 4) is also on the agenda.

According to Paterson, more Republicans are participating in and leading the efforts of the county’s Republican Party through active committees and regular meetings.

“We’re very excited to see such a high level of involvement,” he said, “and we plan to build on that in 2024 and beyond.”

The event will be held at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club, 205 St. Johns Golf Drive, St. Augustine. Tickets can be purchased online at StJohns.GOP.
