Kilometre Paris’ collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island debuted on Thursday, April 9, at their boutique, Maison 1562.
Kilometre Paris’ founder and creative director Alexandra Senes joined guests at the exciting boutique launch to present the exclusive capsule collection, which included large beach totes, barrel bags, bucket bags and hand-embroidered scarves.
A portion of the proceeds from the Amelia Island collection benefited Micah’s Place, a nonprofit in Nassau county dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence.
The boutique launch exuded vibrant, coastal aesthetics and beautiful colors reminiscent of summer sunsets on the beach. The luxurious, handwoven bags featured fun palm tree and parrot designs with pops of pink, green, yellow and blue. The boutique was adorned with papier mâché flowers and included champagne and tasty light bites for guests to enjoy while mingling, listening to music from the DJ and admiring the new collection. Guests got to meet Senes at the boutique launch and learned more about Kilometre Paris.
Kilometre Paris is a company deeply rooted in travel and a love for storytelling. Their creations serve as postcards from around the globe and are designed to carry those memories. Nineteenth-century shirts are used as canvases for the beautiful, embroidery featured on the bags, which are sourced from a small village in Touraine, France.

Joe Murphy, director of marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, graciously invited guests to a lovely, Paris-themed reception with delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The reception was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and a violinist really set the vibe, making guests feel as if they were in Paris. There, Senes shared more about the exciting collaboration and Tracie Fasel, financial director at Micah’s Place, expressed her gratitude for the donations made to Micah’s Place.
