John M. Hammer Jr., 89, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2026. Born January 13, 1937, in Tampa, Florida. He was a University of Florida graduate and devoted husband of 67 years to his wife, Kay. His life was rooted in faith, friendship, and devotion to those he loved. He is lovingly remembered by a large extended family. A service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Sawgrass Beach Club at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
