Jeff’s Bagel Run will celebrate the grand opening of its Neptune Beach location on Friday, March 6. Catriona Harris, vice president of marketing, said the popular bagel company is known for its dedication to quality, freshness and community.
Jeff’s Bagel Run, which was founded by Jeff and Danielle Perera in 2019, began simply. Perera started baking bagels in his kitchen for friends and neighbors after he realized that it was hard to find fresh, scratch-made bagels in Central Florida. Soon, it turned into a neighborhood bagel shop that focused on hot, fresh bagels made throughout the day.
“Today, that same commitment to freshness and community is what fuels every location we open,” Harris said.
The menu features 16 flavors each day. Fifteen of the flavors are offered daily and one is a rotating Bagel of the Day. The bagels are made throughout the day, not just early in the morning, which ensures quality and freshness. The bagels come in delicious, classic flavors including asiago, everything and sesame. The menu includes 17 delectable spreads with options that range from cake batter to jalapeno.
The grand opening will include special giveaways, fun surprises for guests and hot bagels all day. Harris said that if guests get in line by 6:30 a.m., when the shop opens, they will be entered in a raffle to win a dozen bagels a month for a year. Downloading the app can also get guests a chance to spin a prize wheel to win free bagels, hats and T-shirts.
Harris said that Jeff’s Bagel Run is very community driven and is designed to be a neighborhood gathering place.
“We’re not trying to be the biggest place in town; we’re trying to be the place where people feel good about visiting,” Harris said.
