The St. Augustine Humane Society will present “Hot Diggity Dog Day” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2.

Tour the surgical center and pet spa and participate in all the family-friendly activities, including face-painting by the artistic Shauna Spillberg Mayer, portraits by a talented caricature artist and a dog agility exhibition. Representatives from Luna’s Legacy and Swamp Haven will be there with information about animal adoptions, and there will be hot dogs available through Diggin’ It Hot Dogz and Catering.

One of the main attractions of the day is the drawing for a $300 football prize package, which includes two tickets to the Gators’ opening game, and a $50 gift card to the Gridiron Grille in Gainesville. Get tickets at the St. Augustine Humane Society and the Society Pet Spa, 1665 Old Moultrie Road. Raffle tickets are $20 each and can be purchased until drawing time on April 2.
