Harry Oulundsen, 71, passed away on January 20, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Connecticut, he lived many places before settling in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in 1989.

Harry spent his formative years in Connecticut. He attended prep school at Cardinal Cushing Academy in West Newberry, Massachusetts. After high school, he attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and went on to obtain an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston. For most of his career, he worked in the Candy and Tobacco industry. He eventually retired as Vice President of Specialty Sales for Swisher International of Jacksonville, Florida.

Harry was a devout Catholic. During the pandemic, he took particular joy in teaching CCD to his grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family at the Cabana Club on Ponte Vedra Beach. He was an avid golfer and devoted New York football Giants fan. Harry could always be counted on to offer commentary on any sport.

He leaves behind his loving wife Ellen; his two devoted daughters and sons-in-law, Meg and Adam Hammer and Bridget and Adam Caron. He leaves behind his five beautiful grandchildren, Stella, Olivia, Adam, Finn and Camille, all of Ponte Vedra Beach. He also leaves behind his brother George Oulundsen and his wife Elaine of Nashua, New Hampshire; several nieces and nephews and a great many friends. It’s been said that everyone who met Harry loved him. His passing will leave a giant void in the lives of all those who knew and loved him.

The funeral for Harry Oulundsen will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
