Cypress Village proudly hosted a celebratory luncheon in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, bringing together residents, staff and members of the UNF Veterans Association for an afternoon of fellowship, gratitude and patriotic pride.
Sponsored by the Cypress Village Veterans Committee, the event was a heartfelt tribute to those who have served. Longtime resident and veteran Jim Jandreau opened the celebration with a moving speech, reflecting on the significance of the Army’s legacy and the enduring bonds of service. His words set a meaningful tone and served as a reminder of the sacrifices and strength that define our military community.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by a beautifully decorated cake to mark the historic occasion. Veterans from all generations shared stories and camaraderie, underscoring the deep connection between Cypress Village and the wider veteran community.
