Florida Trend magazine has once again named First Florida Credit Union to its annual “Best Companies to Work For in Florida” list, marking the 12th year the credit union has earned the honor.
The recognition highlights First Florida’s commitment to fostering a workplace where employees feel engaged, valued and supported, said Brent Lister, president and CEO of First Florida Credit Union.
“This honor reflects our employees’ hard work, passion and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, high-performing workplace,” Lister said. “It’s not just about what we do. It’s how we do it, making this recognition so meaningful.”
This year, First Florida ranked 28th among 45 mid-sized companies across the state, making it the highest-ranked Jacksonville company on the list.
Best Companies To Work For In Florida is a survey managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. To compete, businesses underwent an evaluation based on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The research group then identifies the best employers in the region, all the while giving organizations employee feedback.
Workforce Research Group managed the registration, survey and analysis that ultimately determined the final rankings.
