The St. Anastasia Catholic Church concert series continues at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, with “Music for Two Grand Pianos, Four Hands” featuring Duo Beaux Arts, the husband-and-wife team of Dr. Catherine Lan and Steinway artist Tao Lin.

This is the second appearance of the piano duo at the church. Music director Peter Morin recalled two years ago when another duo cancelled their scheduled performance and other performers had to be found to fill in.

“I scrambled to find a replacement and stumbled upon these two amazing musicians,” Morin said, adding, “They had immediate standing ovations and played three encores. They are sensational!”

Duo Beaux Arts was formed in 2008. They have performed in France, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands, Estonia, Finland, China and the United States to both critical and audience acclaim. Season highlights include concerto appearances with South Florida Symphony performing Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos, recitals at the prestigious Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C., and debuts in Canada and Hungary.

The Duo specializes in music from the Baroque era to the contemporary, including tangos and ragtime. They are the founders of Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples, Florida, which invites pre-eminent chamber groups to perform in an intimate setting. Duo Beaux Arts has been featured on Fox4 Morning Blend TV, Venice Magazine, Parklander Magazine and Gulfshore Life Magazine.

St. Anastasia Catholic Church is located at 5205 A1A South. The concert which is made possible in part due to the support and generosity of Ms. Marty Geiser, is open to the public. Admission and parking are free. Social distancing and masks are required.
