The Christmas Market in St. Augustine, filled with holiday gifts, winter festivities, live entertainment and delicious treats, has announced new hours for the holiday season.
Now through Wednesday, Dec. 24, The Christmas Market will be open seven days a week, from 4 to 9 p.m., at the Colonial Quarter, 33 St. George St. in downtown St. Augustine. Admission is $5 for adults (ages 14-plus) and free to children age 13 and younger.
“We realized rather quickly that this is a market that people want to visit at night, when the city is sparkling under three million white lights,” explained Elissa Dumontier, who is the organizer of The Christmas Market along with her husband, Franck. “The atmosphere at The Christmas Market is best enjoyed when the sun is going down and revelers can shop our vendor stalls, take part in the various kids’ activities and snap family photos with Santa.”
