Catholic Charities Jacksonville hosted their largest fundraising event of the year, the Black & White Soirée, at the Garden Club of Jacksonville on May 31.
Presented by Ascension St. Vincent's, the sold-out event featured food, fellowship and live music by The Bay Kings Band. It raised more than $200,000 to further the mission: putting faith into action to serve the most vulnerable in the community through food assistance, emergency financial assistance, English for speakers of other languages, immigration legal services and their program for individuals with intellectual and developmental differences, Camp I Am Special.
