Stanley named executive director for Seamark Ranch

Since 2017, Seamark Ranch has provided a safe home to more than 150 children in need. Their mission is to provide a traditional home environment where children can heal through individualized therapy, connect through faith and flourish with unconditional love. Following a nationwide search, the board has announced that they have selected Nathan Stanley as the new executive director of Seamark Ranch.

Stanley started his humanitarian career at a residential care facility for at-risk children in northern Mexico. He went on to work for Samaritan’s Purse, first managing the Latin American region and moving on to Ethiopia, serving as the country director. There, he oversaw operations serving refugees and internally displaced people suffering from the effects of war, drought and disease.

Kelleher-Smith named wealth adviser

Kellie Kelleher-Smith has recently joined B&C Financial Advisors as a wealth adviser. With a background as a registered investment advisor representative and holding the credential of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from The American College of Financial Services, she brings a wealth of knowledge and tools to assist clients in realizing their aspirations for themselves, their families and society.

Her academic journey includes a bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science degree from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.

Prior to her current role, Kelleher-Smith served as the leader of the Jewish Community Foundation of Northeast Florida. During her tenure, she successfully oversaw the merger of the foundation with the Jewish Federation of Northeast Florida in 2018, strengthening and revitalizing relationships with existing investors and bequest donors.

For four years, she worked for the American Cancer Society as one of the first national philanthropy directors growing regional philanthropic investments to fund the building of the Richard M. Schulze Hope Lodge on the Mayo Clinic Florida Campus. She pioneered a philanthropic program to increase endowment funds, ensuring increased access to care through no-cost lodging.

Miars named GreenPointe Holdings president, COO

Grady Miars has been named president and chief operating officer for GreenPointe Holdings, a diversified holding company that brings together the necessary disciplines to create sustainable, high-value communities. Since 2010, Miars has served as president of GreenPointe Developers, the master-plan community and urban development division of GreenPointe Holdings. Miars will continue to report directly to Ed Burr, GreenPointe Holdings chairman and chief executive officer. 

In his new role, Miars will oversee long-term strategic operational planning and procedures, set comprehensive goals for corporate performance and growth, ensure GreenPointe’s financial strength and efficiency, and oversee daily operations of the company and executive team.

Kalal joins real estate business

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty has announced the addition of Sylvia Kalal to its team of real estate professionals. With a diverse background and a passion for connecting families with their perfect homes, Kalal brings a fresh perspective to the Northeast Florida real estate market.

Originally from Slovakia, Kalal relocated to the Sunshine State in 2010. She has a background that spans continents and industries, including residential solar expertise and a successful career as a professional musician specializing in Spanish guitar. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to her role as a real estate adviser.
