Becky Su Jager, 71, passed away February 4, 2023. She fought hard but lost her battle to cancer. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a schoolteacher for 35 years in Jacksonville. Becky retired to Jacksonville Beach where she was a schoolteacher at Seabreeze Elementary.
Becky graduated from Terry Parker High School then went on to college at North Florida College in Madison, Florida before graduating from Florida State University. Becky always remained a super devoted FSU fan. Becky was a member of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, where she volunteered. Becky always had a way of putting smiles on children’s faces. Becky loved most of all spending time with her family, planning events, attending reunions, and continuing family traditions, especially with all her cousins and nephews.
Becky was devoted to her now deceased parents, Kenneth and Marion; and her oldest brother Rick (Paula). Becky is survived by her sister Jennifer (David); brothers, Kenneth (Cora) and Chuck (Suzanne), nieces and nephew, Lacey, Heidi, Dylan, and Madison.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
