The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will welcome APEX Theatre to The Backyard Stage on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, for their rendition of “Complete Works.” Tickets are $27.28 and are available at www.TheAmp.com and www.AXS.com or in-person at the venue box office.
Three madcap performers in Elizabethan dress (and sneakers) weave their way through all 37 of Shakespeare’s tragedies, comedies and histories at a breakneck pace. It’s an irreverent rollercoaster ride through all of the Bard’s plays. The show originally premiered in London and went on to become its longest running comedy. “The Today Show” declared, “If you like Shakespeare, you’ll love this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you’ll love this show.”
Show time is 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
