Amelia Island Restaurant Week to showcase local fare

Amelia Island is inviting residents and visitors to savor the island’s most meaningful culinary tradition and support its award-winning restaurant scene. Amelia Island Restaurant Week (Jan. 16-25) will spotlight 24 locally owned restaurants and the signature dishes, neighborhood favorites and creative personalities that set the island’s dining scene apart. Coordinated by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), Restaurant Week is one of its longest-running initiatives promoting small, independent businesses.

“Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island,” said Gil Langley, president and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”

This year’s program introduces a refreshed focus on each restaurant’s “claim to fame” — a signature dish or specialty that reflects its personality and has earned loyal local followings. From Mediterranean staples to coastal seafood classics and chef-inspired dishes, diners will find a curated lineup that tells the story of Amelia Island’s diverse food culture.

The CVB team is working directly with participating restaurants to drive reservations, boost mid-week traffic and build momentum during a traditionally slower visitation period. The collaboration underscores the CVB’s ongoing commitment to the island’s small-business community.

Restaurant Week will feature 24 restaurants representing a wide mix of styles — fine dining, seafood, Southern comfort, al fresco favorites and more.

Restaurant Week will also continue its tradition of immersive culinary events that showcase Amelia Island’s exceptional chef talent, a driving force behind its status as one of the Southeast’s most compelling dining destinations. These events sell out quickly each year:

  • Opening Dinner: “New Traditions” at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa (Jan. 15) – Held at the newly renovated Nonna Mia, this family-style Italian celebration showcases seasonal ingredients, communal dining, and dishes inspired by coastal European flavors.
  • Closing Dinner: “A Taste of Every Table” at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island (Jan. 25) – Four chefs de cuisine from The Ritz-Carlton’s acclaimed restaurants each present a personal favorite, creating a one-night tasting event that highlights the depth and creativity of the resort’s culinary team.

Restaurant Week offers a delicious opportunity to enjoy signature dishes, discover new favorites and support the local restaurants that fuel Amelia Island’s culinary scene.
