Trump gets 83% of vote in St. Johns County Presidential Preference Primary

Donald Trump received 83.42% of the vote in St. Johns County in the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary, according to the unofficial results reported by the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections. That was slightly higher than the statewide results.

The remainder was divided among former candidates who have ended their campaigns but remained on the ballot. In St. Johns County, Nikki Haley received 11.27% of the vote and Ron DeSantis 3.99%. Chris Christie, Vivek Ramaswamy, Asa Hutchinson and Ryan Binkley split the remnant.

All Election Day and early votes were counted, though votes by mail remained partially counted by Wednesday morning.

Voter turnout was very low at 18.6%.

The City of St. Augustine Charter Amendment passed with 67.62% of the vote.
