Dale Stinton, CEO emeritus of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), shared several of the innovative initiatives NAR implemented during his tenure at the helm of the trade association at the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council (EDC) breakfast on Nov. 17 at the Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine.

Stinton directed NAR for the past 12 years. The largest trade association in the world, NAR boasts more than 1.3 million members, and the association’s Second Century Ventures investment fund incubates start-ups in the real estate industry.

“While advocacy for our members is our prime mission, it is an intangible asset,” Stinton explained. “Our Second Century Initiatives program brings incredible value to our membership, and its strategic investment fund helps finance entrepreneurial businesses that have the potential to influence the industry.”

Among the quarterly event’s attendees was Chamber President and CEO Isabelle Rodriguez, who said, “We were thrilled to host such an innovative leader. He has an impressive track record at the largest organization of its kind.”
