Residents from Shearwater — the new master-planned residential community on County Road 210 — recently came together to celebrate the holidays at the community’s annual Winter Festival at the Kayak Club amenity center.
Residents enjoyed pictures with Santa Claus, fake snowflakes, a hot chocolate bar, cookie decorating, holiday hay rides, train rides and more.
Residents also brought new and unopened toys to the Winter Festival as part of Shearwater’s month-long donation drive for Toys for Tots. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in need in the community.
