The Sharks defeated Pedro Menendez 9-0 on Thursday, Feb. 22 behind Michelle Holder’s shutout pitching. Holder struck out seven and allowed just one hit. Ponte Vedra scored eight runs in the sixth inning to ice the game. In the inning, Quinlan Richmond blasted a double and a single to drive in two runs. Olivia Zitiello, Scotland David and Michelle Leone each drove in a run in the decisive sixth frame.
