Cub Scout Pack 277, sponsored by Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, held its annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Feb. 10. The banquet celebrates the birthday of Scouting and recognizes Scouts for their accomplishments. The pack celebrated with a pizza party for the Scouts and their families, complete with a birthday cake for Scouting. More than 60 Scouts were recognized for their achievements. Pack 277 recognized 15 fifth-grade Cub Scouts who earned their Arrow of Light, the highest award in Cub Scouts. Most of these Scouts crossed over to Boy Scout Troop 277 to continue their fun, adventure and character development.
