RSVP of St. Johns County is seeking community members to assist once a week in the summer reading or algebra programs in the St. Johns County School District, and hours are flexible.

“There are students who can greatly benefit from the help of those willing to give just a small amount of their time,” said Cheryl Freeman, RSVP director. “Assistance from community volunteers can make all the difference in helping these students succeed.”

Orientation for reading volunteers will take place Thursday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and orientation for algebra volunteers will be Friday, June 15, from 9 to 10 a.m. Both meetings will take place at the Fullerwood Auditorium at 10 Hildreth Drive in St. Augustine.
