The Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach continued its charitable donations to the community at its meeting last week, presenting $3,000 checks to the Beaches Council on Aging Dial-a-Ride program, Mission House and the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach.

The Dial-a-Ride program promotes healthy and social engagement of homebound senior and disabled persons living in the Beaches community by providing personal and affordable transportation.

A Jacksonville Beach-based nonprofit dedicated to aiding the homeless members of the Beaches community, Mission House provides food, clothing, medical care and support services, with an ultimate goal of self-sufficiency.

The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach is a nonprofit organization with a mission of bringing the arts into the life of the community through exhibitions of local, regional and national artists in a variety of media; exciting events for the community; and quality arts classes, lectures and workshops.

In addition to these organizations, the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach has made recent donations to the Beaches Habitat for Humanity, the Monique Burr Foundation, the St. Johns County Council on Aging and Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM), among others.
