ROAR Training Center adds trainer to team

ROAR Training Center has announced the addition of EJ Eldridge to its trainer team. A NASM-certified personal trainer and youth exercise specialist, Eldridge brings his knowledge and expertise to ROAR to expand the youth training and sports conditioning programs.

Growing up, Eldridge was a runner and varsity football player at St. Augustine High School.

“I grew up getting to play multiple sports, but really grew a passion for football,” Eldridge said. “As a former athlete, I love helping youth become better versions of themselves. I love what I do, and so work never really feels like work. I feel so lucky that this is what I get to do for a living.”

Eldridge describes himself as a man of faith, and spends his free time sprinting, fishing and surfing.

ROAR currently has young athletes training for lacrosse, football, cross country, basketball, softball and surfing. The training facility is Safe Sport Certified, too, denoting that ROAR staff are knowledgeable, reputable and qualified to operate a safe space for youth exercise.

With Eldridge on the team, the youth fitness training and youth athletic performance for sport offerings at ROAR are even more enhanced.

“We here at ROAR are proud to welcome EJ and know he has so much to contribute to our Youth Exercise Program,” said Chris Cygul, ROAR owner. “Our training center focuses on providing a personalized experience, and these young athletes are often working toward very specific sports goals. We know EJ can help them get stronger mentally and physically, and best prepare them for whatever field they’re playing on.”

ROAR not only caters to youth but is family-friendly with programs for everyone of all fitness levels. The center serves a wide variety of clients, and offers personal training, women's fitness and nutritional wellness. It’s also owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Kristy Lee Wilson and Cygul.

“We’re a family of personal trainers, and we want our clients to feel like they’re a part of that family,” said Cygul.
