PVB Goddard School celebrates Earth Day

Posted

The Goddard School in Ponte Vedra Beach hosted a weeklong campaign last week to celebrate Earth Day.

Activities included hosting a recycled fashion show, creating recycled garden art and sculptures and other eco-friendly projects inspired by STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). On Friday, April 20, every Goddard School across the country shut off all non-essential lighting for an hour beginning at 10 a.m. local time. According to the organization, the Lights Out initiative will save roughly 3.6 million watts of energy.
