More than 250 members of the Ponte Vedra Community Association (PVCA) attended the group’s annual Valentine’s Dance on Friday, Feb. 2, at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.

Attendees enjoyed a dinner buffet, which included delicacies of cheeses, fruits and hot appetizers, and a main course of hand-carved meats with accompaniments and finished off with a dessert bar. Entertainment was provided by local group Cloud 9. Attendees who brought their invitations were included in a door-prize drawing for baskets donated by board and committee members.

Fourteen baskets were given away, including an Italian night, game night, romantic night at home and wine with chocolates.

Minna Barnes, the association’s oldest member at 104 years old, was also in attendance. Others in attendance were event chair Barbara Roberts and board members Jane Lucker, Jane Rollinson and Brad Smith.

The Ponte Vedra Community Association strives to build a sense of community and preserve the unique qualities that make Ponte Vedra Beach a great place to live.
